About Me
I took up photography in 2004 by accident. I took a digital camera to a music festival where I took pictures of bands and acts that appeared over the course of a weekend and decided to place them on a website and received a number of orders for photos after a few successful years I have manages to photograph at a number of festivals and some of the larger venues in London, and the south east. it wasn't until a year later when I became interested in cricket after watching the Ashes I started to follow all forms of cricket both on TV and even tried to play a bit. I soon discovered that I was no good with a bat or a ball and thought that thought I would be better off on the boundary with my camera.
Hartley Wintney Cricket Club in Hampshire was My first stop in 2007, and this was simply because they had a small boundary and allowed me to catch the action with the limited zoom that my camera had. I adopted Hartley as my local ground and spent most weekends taking photos. I spent most of the summer 2008 on the boundary at Hartley Wintney and slowly moved round towards the club house as my lenses and cameras improved. I was invited to to John Crawley Benefit day where I took photos and met Hampshire's team and special guests Andrew Flintoff, Dominic Cork and Glyne Chapple. my pictures made it in the local press and this is when I decided to concentrate my photography on cricket. 2009 saw a great investment in new equipment, you can still see me at the weekends at Hartley Wintney Cricket Ground, I have since had the opportunity to photograph at Hampshire's Rosebowl and Trent Bridge, and always looking for more cricket opportunities what ever the level. and hopefully one day (soon) I will have a picture published in the national press, who knows it could be England wining the ashes in 2009!!!!!
